Oh My Word! Eric's at it again......his voice penetrates my soul and sends my spirit into uber space! I, too, am from Chi-Town and would probably faint if he sings 'Femininity' tomorrow. The songwriting is phenomenal and paints a picture of love and harmony! 'The Hunger' is a real head banger, while 'You're The Only One' sends me back to the old school soul music....can't wait to see you live!

I have loved all of Erics music. I was really excited when my friend Toni sang back up for him briefly. Erics music and voice have a distinct sound and I ALWAYS know it's his, often before the second line of the song! Wonderful job Eric! LOVED THEM!!!

it is unusual for eric benet to gratuitously display his influences in his music, but 'one more tomorrow' has a VERY obvious stevie wonder influence. it is reminiscent of stevie’s 'ribbon in the sky' or 'u and i'. it is a beautiful song.
i wish eric benet the best of luck with the release of his forthcoming album 'love and life'. perhaps it'll help him earn that ever elusive grammy...

Eric strikes again! I heard his in-studio performance on Tom Joyner's Morning Show recently and just melted. I think "The Hunger" will become a favorite when the new album comes out. "You're the Only One" is already in heavy rotation in my car and at home.

I gotta tell you that "The Hunger, song is very sexy! In this song it's saying how much They are wanting, and feeling one another. Digging this song. Wow! "You're The Only One". This song is saying how he really feels about that someone. That one true love he cares for deeply. This song is a home run hitter. On this song "One More Tomorrow", this tells how he loves his daughter unconditionally. I do love this song. I gotta say I have been a big fan of Eric's since the early 90's. He is a wonderful vocalist and have such great talent. He sings with such passion and sings from the heart! Eric, much Love and Success to you and your daughter India. I like Eric Benet's music because it consists of many parts, small stylish nuances unlike many contemporary R&B compositions which are mostly made of the rhythm track and a couple of looped 1-bar samples. Well, ok "Hunger" seems to be made of samples but still it sounds good to me because it again contains these beautiful nuances (surprise samples) that enrich the harmony. "One More Tomorrow" is a very good sounding song, probably it's going to be the third single, right? "Hunger" should get to the top of charts and raise the interest and then "One More Tomorrow" comes into place, but there's something missing in this song. It's very tender, but, maybe there's something very unsusual (catchy) in the middle, I can't say since I didn't hear it till the end. Overall, I have a desire to buy the album.

I have been a fan of Eric's since 1996, but I have to say like fine wine he keeps getting better with time. When I first heard "You're the Only One" I was definitely blown away by the words as well as the delivery. His voice is so amazing he's definitely one of the best vocalist to ever bless a mic. The one thing I can say about "The Hunger" is that this song is on fire it's so hot and sexy! I'm feeling this song in the biggest way. "One More Tomorrow" is just precious. The unconditional love he has for his daughter is very evident. I am predicting a Grammy coming Eric's way with "Love & Life" and these three songs prove my forecast. Much continued success, Eric. Patiently waiting on Sept. 9.

Eric Benet is a musical genius! He is completely underrated and under estimated.
"You're the Only One" is a solid old school R&B hit! It brings back the nostalgia of when music was created, organically, not manufactured. The music scene is in need of that today, real artists.
"The Hunger" is hot and sexy! It's upbeat dancing rhythms promise to make it destined to be a hit in the clubs.
The first 4 bars of "One More Tomorrow" made my eyes misty before he actually started to sing. It is such a beautiful song from a father to a child.
These three songs show Eric's versatility and his range of content and tempos. Again I say, Eric Benet is a musical GENIUS!!!!

"The Hunger" has been my fave since I first heard it during one of EB's radio interviews some weeks ago. I love how E always finds the perfect balance between subtle & salacious. To quote Stevie Wonder, "You nasty boy!" LOL.

The "Hunger" is a good uptempo number with a very catchy hook. My head is still bobbing from listening to it. 'You're the Only One' is a solid R&B number with a theme we all are longing for: Love. "One More Tomorrow" has such beautiful lyrics. It's a very 'pretty' song. If these songs are indicative of the songs on the album, I can't wait until September 9th.
