Many people that I have told about The Experience have had an opportunity to attend at least one performance that they otherwise could not have afforded. I have found these Experiences to  be enlightening, as well as, entertaining. I enjoyed myself and will be attending more of your upcoming events Felisha Hello, I attended the Thursday, September 28th session with Ruben Studdard.  First of all, let me tell you that this was my first such experience with your organization and I enjoyed it thoroughly.  I liked the fact that the session was held at a smaller and more intimate venue.  I liked the question and answer part which allows you to connect and get to know the artist on a more personal level.  Your experience gives the audience a feeling of knowing the artist on a deeper level.  Without this format I would had never known that Mr. Studdard was such a smart and respectful young man with a very good sense of humor. At a regular concert you only get the entertainer, but not the person behind the entertainer.  Your format gives us both sides of the person and that was very refreshing to me and provided me with an experience that I would love to go through again.   Let me say that I knew Mr. Studdard could sing, but I'd never heard him sing in person.   Sometimes you don't know what the expect when you hear someone live as compared to the studio produced CD.  The man can really "sang".   I'm 'old school and enjoy good talent.  I mean I didn't know Ruben could sing so well.  Also, his band was extremely good and I was blown away by such professionalism from a group of young men in their 20's.  I could tell that each of them loves music from their performance. I will definitely recruit others to join your upcoming events.  I know that you're supposed to have Natalie Cole on the 31st  and Maxwell at a future date.  Please let me know of upcoming events.  I'm looking forward to the release of Ruben's CD on the 17th. Martin   The Experience with Ruben was great!!!  I love his sense of humor and his personality.  I also really enjoyed the way that he interacted with his audience during his performance.   It was a delightful experience with Ruben Studdard.   I enjoyed the atmosphere of both the people and the place (The DuSable Museum).  Ruben, really impressed me with the interview that was done with The Music Exp.  The interview showed that he was not only talented, but also intelligent. The sound system was great and the people were too. I’ll see you on Oct 31st Argena Akines Dedry –The Music Experience was an “experience” that I will never forget.  It is surreal for a fan of an artist (Ruben Studdard in my world) to actually be that up close and personal.  I have to say that it will remain in the top 5 of events in my life.  I have been a fan of Ruben’s since his audition tape on American Idol and have followed him since.  When I heard about “The Return: The Experience with Ruben Studdard” I purchased my tickets that day (well...you heard how excited I was)!  I drove 3 hours to get there and then stood in line for 2 hours. I believe that doing an experience with an artist only deepens the fan base and loyalty. We are very thankful for The Music Experience and the opportunity to have been a part of it.  Once again, the up close and personal and the autograph session…well, you just can not describe it. I attended the 'music experience by way of seeing Ruben Studdard. WOW! what a show! It has been a long time since I have attended a live performance, thus I had to ask myself why? As I think back on today’s performers, I realized, that many of them are NOT really saying anything of VALUE. It seems that gone are the days of Quality entertainment. This was my first Musical Experience at the DuSable Museum, and it was TRULY an experience, and one I will not soon forget. To Ruben, continue to put your heart and soul in what you believe in. Your performance was fantastic! Believe it or not, you do set a High Standard for the younger generation. Thanks for coming to Chicago! Jennie I particularly like the intimate setting. The interviews remind me of dinner table conversation with a relative that you have not seen in a long time. I look forward to attending more of these events. This was my second experience. Dear Mr. Jones: The Return: The Exerience with Ruben Studdard was awesome.  I came with my friend Linda Lee and another friend and had been to one other Experience - Al Jarreau several years back.  The 'Experience' with Ruben Studdard was one of the better concerts I've been to and I've been to hundreds of concerts of many musical genres over the years.  I found Mr. Studdard to be very friendly, genial, intelligent, knowledgable, witty and very funny.  I very much appreciated having the band 'in house' and was impressed that the members seemed to be his friends from before he was discovered.  His vocal performance was very impressive.  Often I am let down in a small setting hearing the 'singers' real voice and range w/out the technical embellishments. Mr. Studdard proved he really can sing and definitely deserved the 'American Idol' title.  I commented to my friends that he may not have as 'big' a career as some others in the industry but he'll be around (I predict) for a long time.  Where some presently 'big' artists can fill a stadium now -- many in 5 -10 years from now will be on 'Where are they now?'  I predict Mr. Studdard has the talent, intelligence and ability to fill medium size venues and sell cd's until he's 70 or beyond because he can sing a nice range but especially some classic Luther that there is a defined audience for throughout the states and internationally. He's going to be a steady player (I sure hope) for many years to come.  I appreciated his down-to-earth personality, humbleness, his clear appreciation for his fans and his willingness to sing many more songs (almost a full concert) than I ever expected.  I am looking forward to hearing his entire new cd as the sampler was just a tease. I have a request though...is it possible to get an Experience with Rachelle Ferrell???  I know she hasn't come out with a new CD in years, but she is one of my favs and I would LOVE to see her in such a setting. Aleshia L. Brooks :) Dedry, This was our 3rd Experience and by far the best. We didn't think it could get any better. Heather was wise beyond her years and her voice is truly amazing. Donald Lawrence was very inspirational. Ruben was truly a gem. His voice is beautiful, as is his wit and personality, but most of all, his interaction with the audience was superb! I can't wait for the entire album to come out! I have told all my friends and co-workers about The Experience. Please keep us posted. An additional note: Previously we saw the experience advertised in our church bulletin (Trinity UCC) and in the Trumpet magazine.
